Attending Extra Mooga on Saturday, I got the following: 3 cocktails, 2 sodas, 3 tastes of champagne and 2 tastes of coffee, 2 pieces of cheese, a bite of roast beef, a bite of mortadella hot dog, a bite of beef with corn salsa, a piece of porchetta, and then all the food ran out and there was a fistfight over fried chicken. There were no "heaping plates of your favorites" as promised on the Extra Mooga page. We got to watch the celebrities on stage knock the festival and generally make fun of rich white people and overindulgence while they got to indulge in full meals of all the food we didn't get.

There is no way in hell that that was worth $250. Maybe $50, if I'm feeling generous.

And just think- the experience that you describe on Sunday was easily 10x worse on Saturday! (Yes, I was at ExtraMooga on Saturday.)

B&B Empire on Atlantic Avenue and Clinton Street is one of my go tos, now that Catania sadly closed a little farther down Atlantic. B&B is mellow in the afternoon, with lots of windows. Outlets are hard to find but there are a few. I got soup and a panino recently and was really pleasantly surprised that a bagel joint does lunch so well.
