Beer Wars Meets Flight Club!

Contrary to what you might have read, Beer Wars doesn’t feature “small brewers flying….into Anheuser-Busch’s corporate Death Star and destroying it with proton torpedoes made of hops until all the beer nerds dance around like Ewoks in their gastropub village in the trees.” (Though we’d love to watch that. You reading this George?)
What you will see at the Brooklyn premiere of Beer Wars tonight is a doc that puts some perspective on the “small” and “micro” in craft brewing, given the amount of power Anheuser-Busch (now AB InBev) and MillerCoors wield.
And what you’ll drink and nosh on at the screening is a flight of beers from craft breweries featured in the film: Dogfish, Brooklyn Brewery, and Stone, plus one from Smuttynose (who isn’t in the film but should be!), paired with cheese from Murray’s, by folks from all these breweries. It’s basically the best post-film Q&A imaginable, and it’s all included in your $20 ticket, available here and at the door. See you there!
