Brooklyn Indie Market’s Benefit Sale for the Brooklyn Bureau of Community Service’s families at risk program. Designers donate 10% of their sales and the Indie Market itself will donate 20% of their table fees. Ongoing raffles too. Artez’n (artezn.com): Affordable items made mostly by Brooklyn-based artists. Also offers various classes like silkscreening and jewelry-making.

Green Jeans (greenjeansbrooklyn.com): Park Slope store with a sustainable bent that hosts exhibits and sells handmade wares.

Rare Device (raredevice.net): Higher-end design store featuring local designers like Jezebel (who’s in The Brooklyn Sampler!)

Spring (spring3d.net): A boutique run like a gallery, with designers like by:AMT (also in The Sampler!)
