It’s high time BB threw a party, and next Wednesday, Sept. 10, our cocktail club returns to Prospect Heights’ popular hangout, Barrette.

Opened just under a year ago by some of the same partners behind the Moe’s-Pequena-Olea-Maggie Brown empire in Fort Greene/Clinton Hill, Manager and Prospect Heights local Erica Crawford has made eclectic events like burlesque and beer-paired dinners a signature of this sexy red bar. So it’s fitting that she should invite us there, especially on a Wednesday night, when resident mixologist Damon Boelte is pouring.

Boelte spent a year and a half learning about spirits at his local liquor store, the beloved LeNell’s, and on Wednesday he’ll be serving four different drinks to sample (for free!), all made with Lillet, the French aperitif that many bars are rediscovering in the midst of this cocktail renaissance.

Bring yourself and your friends, so we can get to know you, and you can meet the new BB, now that editors Annaliese Griffin and Chrysanthe Tenentes, and contributors like Keith Wagstaff have joined the team.
