WEDNESDAY: Serve It Up
Test your table tennis skills at Southpaw, as part of Bud Light’s nation-wide Hard Bat Classic Table Tennis Tournament. At stake: a trip to Las Vegas for the table tennis nationals, where the winner will take home $100,000. Sign-up is at 8pm; the competition starts at 9pm.
Like a Rolling Stone
Get down like Keith Richards tonight at Legion Bar as they present the raucous 1970 documentary Gimme Shelter, which culminates in The Rolling Stones’ infamous Altamont concert riot. Also, free popcorn! 790 Metropolitan Ave., Williamsburg (L to Graham Ave), 8pm.
THURSDAY: Toy War Story
In a strange twist on war photography, David Levinthal uses toys to create intense wartime tableaux in his new book I.E.D.; he discusses his photos with critic Richard Woodward on Thursday at powerHouse Arena.
FRIDAY: Ladies Night
Queens Arrive, an international exhibition of all female graffiti writers including NYC’s Claw Money, Paris’ Fafi and Brazil’s NIna, bursts on the Williamsburg art scene this Friday at McCaig-Welles Gallery.
SATURDAY: Brew Fest
As a shout-out to the U.K.’s National Cask Ale Week, the Gate is hosting its first-ever Cask Ale Festival, featuring 10 rare casks from both Britain and the U.S. The pay-as-you-go event runs until Sunday (or until the beer runs out); go on Saturday to be part of the world’s largest toast, which happens globally at 2pm EST.
Made in Brooklyn
The Rising Arts Gallery hosts an opening reception for the 2nd annual Represent Brooklyn exhibition, which features works of art inspired by Brooklyn and created by Brooklyn-based artists. The reception runs from 4pm to 8pm; the exhibit is open until May 9.

DinoCon
The creative minds behind ROFLCon present (along with the Barbarian Group) Titans of Small-Town, a night of webcomic gallery fun, at 303Grand Saturday at 7pm. Don’t miss the beauty and simplicity of A Softer World (not just for the webcomic-obsessed).

Lights, Action
The new weekly party Mister Saturday Night at Santos Party House is across the river but still a must. Check out Francis and the Lights before they hit the big big time (they will). They were at SXSW, sold out the Bowery Ballroom and played an amazing secret show at Zebulon in February. Their danceable sound is reminiscent of old Michael Jackson and Prince, but the performance is all frontman Francis Starlight. Catch a set by DJ Four Tet downstairs. Open bar 10-11pm, $1o tickets with RSVP.
Return of the BIM
If you missed the reopening of the Brooklyn Indie Market–now in its third year–last weekend, you can still browse its collection of Brooklyn-made wares every Saturday and Sunday starting at 11am. Just look for the red and white striped tent at the corner of Smith at Union Streets.
Find Me
A Child Grows in Brooklyn has a listing of family-friendly (or for kids of all ages) Easter egg hunts across the city this weekend.
MONDAY: Spellbound
Looking to show off your extensive vocabulary and win free booze? Sign up for the Williamsburg Spelling Bee on Monday at Pete’s Candy Store.

TUESDAY:Sing out Loud
Relive summer camp (or play along with those remembering) at the record release party for Hebrew School, David Griffin’s project that reworks old Hebrew school classics with an indie rock bent. You may know him from his previous work with the faux French band Nous Non Plus, but you’ll love him for these sing along greats. Tuesday at Public Assembly, doors at 9pm.
