Along with OHNY, Brooklyn Navy Yard Arts provides a rare public glimpse of their workplace Saturday beginning at noon, when the new artists collective holds open studios inside seven Navy Yard buildings. Brooklyn’s Designs
The Brooklyn Flea and Greenjeans launch their co-curated Fall Furniture Festival, featuring green furnishings made by local designers like DUMBO’s 4Korners (whose credenza is pictured above). Many of the indie furniture makers, including Bushwick’s Brave Space Design, the Navy Yard’s Nightwood and Red Hook’s Uhuru, will be on hand to talk shop every Sunday in October. More details here>>
