Nicole Davis, Publisher, Brooklyn Based, Editor, BB Kids Nicole moved to Brooklyn in 1997, worked at a few magazines, then took a day job as the arts editor of a local Manhattan weekly to pursue freelance writing. That was a tough road, so she decided to launch BB instead, and has pretty much devoted herself to it and little else since.
